Message Shifting can be exhausting and tiring work once you get to be in my age bracket. In town (I live downtown) I could essentially drive the car like an automatic by leaving the car in second gear, and thereby rest or even free up my right arm for other activities, which shall go unspecified at this time. According to the opinions on this post, that might not be the best thing for the clutch. That's what I wanted to know.
